Abstract
ABSTRAK RANCANGAN PERBAIKAN TERHADAP PENUMPUKAN BACKORDER SERVICE PART EXPORT PT. X PT. X bergerak dalam industri kendaraan bermotor baik perakitan mesin, kendaraan maupun pembuatan suku cadang kendaraan bermotor khusus merek dagang A. Service Part Management Department (SPMD) merupakan satuan kerja PT. X, yang bertugas untuk mengatur arus produksi dan pemenuhan pesanan baik untuk konsumsi lokal ataupun keperluan ekspor. Dalam proses pemenuhan pesanan ekspor tersebut PT. X mengalami permasalahan berupa tingginya jumlah backorder mereka, yang menjadi cerminan belum optimalnya proses pemenuhan pesanan-pesanan mereka khususnya untuk tujuan ekspor. Beberapa cara sudah ditempuh untuk mengatasi masalah ini, namun kondisi ini belum menunjukan perubahan yang signifikan. Oleh karena itu penggunaan Current Reality Tree sebagai bagian dari metode Theory of Constraint Thinking Process digunakan untuk memvisualisasikan permasalahan serta mencari sumbernya. Sehingga dapat dibuat rencana perbaikan yang mengacu pada penerapan prinsip-prinsip Just-In-Time khususnya pada eliminasi waste serta pengembangan lanjutan berupa otomatisasi yang berprinsip pada penerapan Jidoka. Kata kunci: Backorder, Lean, Just-in-time, Rancangan perbaikan, TOC, CRT ================================================================================================================== ABSTRACT PLANNED IMPROVEMENT ON EXPORT SERVICE PART BACKORDER OVERFLOW IN PT. X PT. X engaged in motor vehicle manufacturing industry especially in engine and vehicles assembly and also the manufacture of automobile parts specially trademarked by A. Service Part Management Department (SPMD) is a work unit of X, whose duty is to regulate production flow and order fulfillment for both local consumption and export requirements. In order to fulfill the export order PT. X encountered problems in form of high number of backorder, which became a reflection of not yet optimal fulfillment of their orders, especially for export purposes. Several ways have been taken to solve this problem, but this condition has not shown any significant change. Therefore the use of the Current Reality Tree as part of the Theory of Constraint Thinking Process method is used to visualize the problem and find its source. So that it can be made an improvement plan that refers to the application of the principles of Just-In-Time especially in the elimination of waste elimination and the continued development of principled automation in the application of Jidoka.
