Abstract

ABSTRAK TESIS Nama Mahasiswa : Hario Wicaksono Program / Angkatan : Magister Manajemen Eksekutif Muda / Angkatan 1 Judul Tesis : Strategi Pengembangan SMAI Al Azhar BSD Pokok Permasalahan : Maksud dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah merumuskan strategi pengembangan SMAI Al Azhar BSD serta membuat rancangan implementasi strategi. Adapun yang menjadi tujuan penelitian adalah mempertahankan eksistensi sekaligus meningkatkan citra SMAI Al Azhar BSD sebagai SMA Islam yang bermutu baik di dalam industri pendidikan tingkat SLTA. Dalam perumusan strategi, penulis menggunakan konsep Strategic Management yang dikemukakan oleh Fred R. David dengan alat bantu berupa Matriks EFE, Matriks IFE, Matriks IE, dan QSPM. Hasil dari penelitian ini menetapkan strategi penetrasi pasar sebagai strategi pengembangan SMAI Al Azhar BSD. Guna mengimplementasikan strategi vi tersebut penulis menyusun rancangan implementasi strategi dalam bentuk kegiatan-kegiatan operasional berupa: (a) Mengoptimalkan peran manajerial kepala sekolah, (b) Meningkatkan aktivitas pemasaran sekolah, (c) Merekrut peserta didik yang bemutu baik, dan (d) Menyelenggarakan pelayanan pendidikan yang relevan dengan perkembangan zaman dan berstandar internasional. Implementasi strategi dijalankan selama 1 periode SMA (3 tahun). ================================================================================================================== THESIS ABSTRACT Student Name : Hario Wicaksono Programme / Batch : Magister Manajemen Eksekutif Muda / Angkatan 1 Thesis Title : Strategi Pengembangan SMAI Al Azhar BSD Main Problem : The aim of this research is formulating development strategy of Al Azhar BSD Islamic Senior High School and making the design of strategy implementation. While the objective of this research is maintaining the existence and also improving the image of Al Azhar BSD Islamic Senior High School as Islamic Senior High School which has good quality in the education industry senior high school level. In formulating strategy, author utilize Strategic Management concept that suggested by Fred R. David and using the tools such as EFE Matrix, IFE Matrix, IE Matrix, and QSPM. viii The result of this research is determining market penetration strategy as the development strategy of Al Azhar BSD Islamic Senior High School. To implement this strategy author composing the design of strategy implementation into activities such as: (a) optimizing the managerial role of the principal, (b) improving school marketing activities, (c) recruiting good quality students, and (d) holding education service that relevan with ages development and international standard. Strategy implementation taking one period of senior high school time (3 years).
